Further evolution of the transmission speed and textures of sound
The “LINE” series interconnect cables which have been highly reputed till now have been further improved by changing the shielding from PE to a fluorine system resin and the damper material from cotton to pure silk (natural silk).
The result is an extreme improvement of the non-dielectric constant which leads to a further evolution of the transmission speed and textures of sound.
Apart from a solid single-core PCOCC-A conductor, there is 100% shielding by the use of a copper-foil shield. We also have a Carbon SF tube which prevents exterior noise and radiation noise, plus an anti-vibration RCA plug made from a solid block of 2017S air craft grade aluminum alloy as in the original LINE models, however, the evolution of the new version is obvious. The new version has performance hot on the heels of our flagship model RCA-1.0PA and XLR-1.0PA.
Principle and structure
Twisted wire and Litz wire structure (which almost all audio cables on the market are equipped with) are unable to avoid Straying Electric Current(so called “Strand jump phenomenon”).
This Straying Electric Current generates incidental sound and distortion which lead to a loss of accurate sound image, a feeling of muddiness etc.
LINE-1.0RS and LINE-1.0XS employ a single-wire structure which theoretically does not generate Straying Electric Current and so achieves a very accurate signal transmission without any incidental damage to the sound or creation of distortion.
PCOCC-A solid single-core
We, with the cooperation of Furukawa Electric Co, employed PCOCC-A.
PCOCC-A used for Single-core cables is an annealed version of PCOCC (mono crystalline high purity OFC) and its purity is far better than normal annealed copper conductors such as 6N OFC.
The reason being is that even such a high purity material as 6N is unable to avoid introducing impurities into the crystal grain structure during the annealing process. PCOCC however, does not have crystal grain itself and there is no possibility of impurities being introduced.
For this reason, it can be said that the purity and conductivity of PCOCC-A is the highest among the conductor materials presently adopted.

LINE series of cable employs a two core shield structure which has the magnetic field denial effect.
Shielding by copper foil for 100% shield effect.
(A meshed shielding material is not perfect and also causes a straying current)
Carbon permeated CSF tube to avoid External invasion noise, Radiation noise, Electrification, etc, and so achieves perfect shielding combined with the copper foil.
RCA connector of LINE-1.0RS is made from a Gold plated brass body and solid 2017S Duralumin cap to achieve the ultimate conductivity and anti-vibration.
