Advantages of the Solid Single-core conductor

We employed for our headphone cables a solid single-core conductor ? this is a world first.
The conductor of conventional headphone cables is a “stranded type” made from twisted thin wires which causes stray current (so called “Strand jump phenomenon”) on transmission. This Stray current generates several serious evils in sound such as a distortion, noise and an incidental sound.
Using single core wire avoids stray current and does not generate such evils in sound.

PCOCC-A Conductor

For the conducting material PCOCC-A is used which is an annealed version of PCOCC (mono crystalline high purity OFC).
The annealing process is necessary for any material to be used as an audio cable. However, these materials are affected by this process, introducing unwanted impurities into the crystal grain structure which significantly decreases the purity of the conductors and the conductivity is also reduced.
PCOCC does not have crystal grain itself and there is no possibility of impurities being introduced during the annealing process, therefore, the purity of PCOCC-A is far better than normal annealed copper conductors such as 6N OFC.

●A principle and structure
PCOCC-A Conductor

PCOCC-A is an annealed version of PCOCC (mono crystalline high purity OFC) developed by Dr. Atsumi Ohno, - Professor of Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan.
The annealing process is necessary for all high-purity materials and the purity is decreased by impurities
introduced into the crystal grain structure. However, PCOCC does not have crystal grain from the beginning and so, there is no possibility of introducing impurities.
Therefore, PCOCC maintains its high purity even after the annealing process converts it to PCOCC-A, and the crystal structure gives the best conditions for uniform directionality.
PCOCC has hard single crystal, but once annealed and converted to PCOCC-A, conductivity improves and becomes flexible making it easier to use.

Employment of two core shield structure

Coaxial cables are used for a most of conventional headphone cables.
The coaxial structure uses a conducting wire for HOT(+) and a meshed outer shield wire for COLD(-) which causes a difference in the transmitting conditions between HOT and COLD. The result is phase characteristics that are out of order.
In addition, due to the combined use of the Shield and COLD, the COLD line signal is affected by outside noises which severely degrades the sound quality.
Acoustic Revive headphone cables have a two core shield structure. Equal HOT and COLD conductors are placed in parallel correctly, and create a correct phase characteristic supported by the magnetic field denial effect.
We see also that, most existing headphone cables are non-shielding or constructed with meshed shielding. Even the highest quality mesh(over 90% mesh) is full of crevices and so exterior noise is free to invade.
Acoustic Revive headphone cables are 100% shielded by a copper-foil shielding to achieve the highest possible S/N ratio.




The World’s first ! Newly developed headphone jack with a perfect nonmagnetic material structure

The transmission quality of cables deteriorates greatly with increases in magnetism.
Even if there is a small magnetic body (such as a small iron screw or Nickel in plating material) in the cable structure, the magnetic substance quickly gets magnetized by electric current. This will then disturb current flow and will degrade sound quality remarkably.
All conventional headphone jacks are not designed for Hi-Fi use and include many magnetic substances such as Iron Core inside, Nickel plating (A ground plating is made from Nickel even for a gold-plating jack), etc.
We have developed the world’s first headphone jack with a completely nonmagnetic material structure.
A luxurious non-iron-core jack made from a solid block of brass is plated with Rhodium on Silver ground-plating, then processed by Super Cryogenic treatment (-196°C) to achieve an ultimate conductivity without any magnetic distortion.
Also, the cap is made from a solid block of Duralumin (2017S air craft grade aluminum alloy).
This combination of different metal types gives excellent vibration control and this further improves sound quality.

We have also developed our original headphone plugs using non magnetic materials for ULTRAZONE & SONY, SHURE、SENNHEISER 650、SENNHEISER 800 respectively.
All plugs are plated with Rhodium on Silver ground-plating, with an anti-vibration structure using a combination of different types of metals for ultimate conductivity.
For the CANNON plug of RHC-2.5HS- and RHC-2.5HE-B, we used our original XLR plug RBC-1M which is equipped with the world’s first Solder-less screw fixing system which avoids degradation of conductivity by solder.
As well as its non-magnetic structure, RBC-1M is equipped with the full technology of Acoustic Revive such as Rhodium plating on Silver ground-plating, Super Cryogenic treatment, anti-vibration body with a combination of different types of metals to achieve ultimate conductivity and sound quality.




Independent supply of a headphone jack and headphone plugs is also available.
